Peel Golf Club is situated in the west of the island and proves to be a challenging course for all who play here. It is a par 69 and is 5874 yards long. The course is extremely varied with many holes having been cut through pine tree plantations and offers a wide range of natural hazards from streams and turf banks to gorse.
At every part of the course the views are stunning, being surrounded by hills and farmland. The weather can prove to be an obstacle, especially when it’s windy as parts of the course are quite exposed but on a fine, sunny day there is no better place to be. When you’ve finished your round, pop into the Clubhouse to refuel, all are very welcome, golfer or not.
The main room of the Clubhouse is a light, airy space ideally suited for large birthday parties, weddings and anniversary celebration. Day-to-day it’s busy with members and visitors enjoying coffee, lunch, and friendly service.
The Centenary Room is the smaller of our bars; comfortable, cosy with a multi-fuel stove and chesterfield sofas, ideal for relaxing in to discuss your day’s golf or simply having a coffee. Large windows afford amazing views across the 1st fairway, 2nd green and 18th fairway, towards Slieu Whallian, South Barrule and round to Peel Hill.
